About the Job:
Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Security Guard in Halton Hills, Ontario.

 Job Details: 
  • Reception & Gatehouse security guard.
  • Full-time.
  • Available to do, Morning & Afternoon Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM & 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or Afternoon & Night Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM & 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Must Drive (Have own Vehicle).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
  • Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
  • Visitor Access Control.
  • Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
  • Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
  • Monitor security cameras.
  • Operate security control room equipment.
  • Patrolling.
  • Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
  • Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
  • Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • CPR Level C Certified.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle.
  • Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends.

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional work ethics.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs. 
  • Exceptional  Customer Service.
